Claire Wittman is a playwright, dramaturg, and educator based in Virginia. She loves creating theatre for young actors and audiences, taking walks while listening to podcasts, and spending time with her cat Juliet. You can contact her here!

The team at Masterworx Theatre, who have previously produced The Female Quixote and premiered Cottingley earlier this year, has commissioned Claire to adapt the story of a local legend. The Great Unstoppable Mighty Mites Take the Field (Again) opens in May and more information can be found here!

Claire was delighted to join the Belle Esprit Theatre Collective and the Atlanta Shakespeare Company as the dramaturg for a brand new adaptation of Sense and Sensibility, written and directed by Claire F. Martin. You can purchase tickets and read the dramaturg and director's notes here.

This summer, Claire will direct the Festival Young Company for the Richmond Shakespeare Festival.
